Reporting to the Quality Manager, this role will be responsible for supporting the Quality Department by ensuring products meet standards, resolving issues, minimizing costs, driving improvements, and fostering a defect-prevention and continuous improvement culture.

Hours: Monday - Thursday 08:30 - 16:30, Friday 08:30 - 13:30 (35 hours/week)

Job Description
Leading customer-facing activities, including hosting meetings, managing concerns, and ensuring compliance with quality standards such as IATF16949/ISO9001.
Driving problem-solving initiatives, root cause analysis, and corrective actions using methodologies like 8D to improve product and process quality.
Overseeing quality-related issues across internal, supplier, and customer concerns while supporting scrap reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
Conducting audits, maintaining control plans and PFMEAs, and ensuring adherence to quality systems, manufacturing processes, and measurement equipment usage.
Assisting with new product introduction, change management activities, and process refinements, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings and calibration systems.
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
1. Proven experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
2. Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, etc.)
3. Understanding of quality systems
