Mechanical Bias Maintenance Engineer Location: Commutable from Hemel Hempstead, Berkhamsted, Aylesbury, Dunstable, Luton, Tring, Milton Keynes Salary: 45k ? Shifts: Monday to Friday days but will be moving to double days at some point Are you a skilled Mechanical Bias Maintenance Engineer looking for a new challenge? This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team, maintaining and repairing production plant, test equipment, and supporting day-to-day facilities maintenance. Key Responsibilities: ? Perform routine servicing of plant and equipment to a pre-defined schedule. ? Minimize production downtime by ensuring all servicing is completed efficiently. ? Diagnose and carry out repairs on mechanical and electrical systems. ? Maintain accurate records within the Computerised Maintenance System (CMS) to improve reliability. ? Assist with the control and replenishment of spare parts and components. ? Work with specialist subcontractors for maintenance and repairs when required. ? Order and expedite spare parts as needed. ? Follow all Health & Safety policies and procedures. ? Provide occasional paid standby cover outside of standard working hours. ? Support the wider maintenance team with additional routine tasks. What We're Looking For: HNC, City & Guilds, or equivalent technical qualification (or relevant experience). Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance knowledge. Experience in a maintenance or production support role. Self-motivated, flexible, and a proactive problem-solver. Excellent verbal communication skills.
