This is an exciting time for a customer-focused individual to join the Customer Engagement Team. With a clear customer focus prioritised by the business, we can grow our team to ensure the customer voice lies at the heart of all we do.
You will be responsible for helping to ensure the customer voice is heard. You will play a key role in supporting our pathways to engagement, whether this is helping to service our involved customer groups, taking a key role in delivering service-specific and local customer engagement activities, or supporting front-line colleagues with local projects and groups.
A successful candidate will be able to exhibit good organisational and planning skills to support the effective running of events and meetings. You will be able to demonstrate excellent people skills to help communicate, support and engage with customers and colleagues as part of the role. You will have good problem-solving skills, work flexibly within a team and manage multiple projects. A positive ‘can-do’ approach is essential for the role.
What will my working week look like?
You will be homebased, living within the Northwest, within a reasonable travelling distance of our Head Office in Warrington, to attend meetings and training courses when needed. Realistically, you will be required to visit our Head Office when required support customer meetings we will be facilitating.
You will lead on the delivery of customer engagement activities, such as meetings, estate walkabouts and events. You will support the Customer Scrutiny Manager, to work with colleagues across YHG to provide opportunities to deliver customer-based projects and make improvements. You will be provided with all the support you need to thrive in the role.
What will I be responsible for doing?
You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of customer engagement activities in line with YHG’s Customer Engagement Policy. You will support the group to meet the Transparency, Influence and Accountability standard. You will facilitate our involved customer engagement pathways, which include the Customer Connect Panel, the Customer Scrutiny Panel, The Equality Diversity and Inclusion Panel and the Culture Group and support the wider business in delivering customer engagement activities. You will ensure that customer engagement activities are evidenced and recorded accordingly.
This is a fantastic role for a customer-focused individual, as you will be working directly with our customers to help shape and improve our services. You will have the opportunity to work with customers to probe and ask questions to help inform insight that will make a real difference for customers. The role is varied and will provide opportunities for individuals to learn and develop their skills.
