What To Expect The role contributes to JLR’s purpose and vision of modern luxury by ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for our employees, visitors, customers and partners across a select number of UK based manufacturing and non-manufacturing sites. You’ll be required to carry out pre-defined tasks and functions as well as maintaining an 'added value' approach to the work and JLR. Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities: Ensure a deep knowledge of the JLR sites in order to help customers understand the broad operation of JLR across our UK sites Answering calls from internal and external customers through the switchboard and running access control reports To fulfil and carry out the monthly on/off-boarding process Will document and maintain working practices in line with the JLR way Drive a continuous improvement approach within the reception and access control team What You’ll Need Customer service/hospitality background Conflict resolution or similar Excellent team working - HPT Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and administration/IT – filing, MS-O365 applications Switchboard/telephony skills & experience in access control Solihull based and required to be fully mobile - flexible across all JLR Midland based company sites (as determined by the business) during the course of employment and will require flexibility on the day to meet operational requirements. Operation hours vary across sites; therefore, flexibility is required ensuring all Reception & Access Control services are covered when working at the site you are covering, additional hours are required when covering other sites.
