**What You Will Do:**
* Manufacture bespoke wiring looms and assemblies, adhering to circuit drawings and wiring lists.
* Perform hand soldering of fine components, ensuring precision and quality.
* Install and wire miniature strain gauges, contributing to the companys innovative projects.
* Engage in calibration, maintenance, testing, and fault:finding of sensors, signal conditioning, and data acquisition systems down to component level.
* Specify required instrumentation based on customer specifications, enhancing project outcomes.
* Work collaboratively in the preparation and assembly of models and rigs for testing, maintaining high:quality standards while considering schedule and costs.
**What You Will Bring:**
* Proven experience as a time:served technician, ideally in an R and D or commercial environment.
* Qualification to HNC/HND in Electrical and Electronic Engineering level (or equivalent).
* Experience in the manufacture of bespoke wiring looms and assemblies.
* Experience of equipment calibration and the setup of measurement/monitoring equipment.
* Demonstrable skills in soldering, wiring, and instrumentation installation.
* A flexible approach to shift working patterns and the ability to work overtime as required.
* A commitment to maintaining a clean, safe working environment and adhering to Health and Safety policies.

This opportunity is based in a state:of:the:art facility in Bedford, offering the chance to work in an inspiring and dynamic environment. Full time, 40 hours per week, shift work (typical hours are 07.00 : 15:00 and 14.00 : 22:00 on a rotating weekly basis)
