About the Role: Deliver engaging and challenging Art lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, following relevant examination specifications. Plan and prepare high-quality lessons that cater to a variety of artistic interests and abilities, ensuring all students are challenged and supported. Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources, including drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, and digital art, to enhance student learning. Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual learning journeys. Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Art and Design examinations, ensuring they have a strong understanding of assessment criteria. Contribute to the development of the Art curriculum and resources, ensuring it is inclusive and reflects the diverse artistic interests of our students. Foster a love of art in students, encouraging them to develop their artistic skills, creativity, and critical thinking. Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment. Contribute to extracurricular activities and enrichment programs related to art, including exhibitions, workshops, and gallery visits. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Strong subject knowledge in Art and Design. Demonstrated ability to teach across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Experience in preparing students for GCSE and A-Level Art and Design examinations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and artistic skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students of all artistic abilities.
