As a People & Culture Assistant, you will provide vital support to our Professional Services and Academic Institutes, ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely, and effective People & Culture services across the University.
Your role will involve liaising with a wide range of people within, and outside, the University and includes:
1. Co-ordinating our staff recruitment (using our Stonefish e-Recruitment portal)
2. Conducting pre-employment checks
3. Administration of data (using our ResourceLink HRIS system)
4. Drafting employment contracts
5. Being an initial point of contact for People & Culture queries
You will have experience of working in an administrative role and must be able to demonstrate awareness of data protection and information security best practice.
With a professional approach to providing high levels of customer service, you will be expected to establish and develop working relationships with recruiting managers. Excellent organisational and communication skills are essential in addition to the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of the wider team.
