As our Administrative Assistant, you will undertake a range of administrative duties to support the work of our curriculum teams and the delivery of cross college initiatives. You will provide administrative support to the Business Administration Manager, the Head of Learning and the Department Management team. It is a busy department with several work streams and events happening concurrently and an ability to multi-task is key. A strong customer focus underpins much of the work with interactions with a variety of people and institutions: staff, students, parents, external suppliers, community, awarding bodies, local employers and stakeholders, awarding bodies.

You will require experience of working within an administrative role and a customer focused environment. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams is essential as are IT and keyboard skills and you should also hold Level 2 English and Maths.
The post is 30 hours per week, (4 days a week), over 52 weeks a year. Our administrative teams cover Monday to Fri 9am-5pm. The working pattern will be discussed at interview.
Please note that there may be a requirement to support evening or weekend events - any such arrangement would be agreed in advance and time off in lieu agreed.
