Role Overview:
This role supports the Head of Hospitality Operations in delivering outstanding hospitality experiences by managing key operational, financial, and health & safety aspects. The position requires strong collaboration with various departments to ensure seamless execution of hospitality events while identifying opportunities for innovation, efficiency, and revenue growth. The role also involves managing budgets, maintaining high service standards, and contributing to the overall success of hospitality operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Service Excellence: Assist in delivering exceptional service standards to meet and exceed department targets.
* Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with internal teams, including Sales, Logistics, and Event Managers, to ensure smooth event execution.
* Event Support: Provide variable event managers with necessary event details, advice, and motivation to ensure high-quality delivery.
* Budget Management: Oversee and manage specific hospitality budgets assigned by the Head of Hospitality Operations.
* Operational Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the guest experience and drive financial and operational efficiencies.
* Health & Safety Compliance: Support and maintain health & safety compliance, ensuring that training is up to date.
* Financial Oversight: Assist in managing budgets, identifying cost-saving measures, and exploring new revenue opportunities.
* Client Relations & Business Growth: Maintain strong client relationships, handle customer feedback, and contribute to the development of high-end hospitality experiences.
About you:
* Hospitality Experience: Minimum 2 years in the hospitality industry (full-time or variable) with a proven track record.
* Food Safety & Dietary Knowledge: Strong understanding of dietary requirements, allergies, and food safety practices.
* Team Player & Self-Starter: Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively in a team.
* Strong Organizational & Leadership Skills: Confident in prioritizing tasks, delegating work, and keeping records organized.
* Cool Under Pressure: Ability to multi-task, stay calm, and motivate staff in a fast-paced environment.
* Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for tracking and reporting.
* Excellent Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to engage with colleagues and clients at all levels.
* Flexibility & Adaptability: Willingness to work variable hours as needed to meet operational demands.
