Join Our Team as a Service Engineer
Are you a skilled engineer with a passion for problem-solving and customer service? Do you have experience in wastewater treatment, pump stations, or mechanical/electrical systems? If so, we want to hear from you.
We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our Water & Energy team. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and commissioning market-leading wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, oil interceptors, and rainwater harvesting systems. This is a customer-facing role, requiring excellent communication skills and technical ability to ensure a high standard of service delivery.

* Working Hours: 8:00 AM-5:30 PM, Monday to Friday (42 hours/week).

Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct servicing, repairs, commissioning, and inspections at customer sites.
* Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently, aiming for First Time First Fix (FTFF).
* Perform confined space entry for internal inspections and repairs.
* Work independently and maintain clear communication with customers and the scheduling team.
* Complete detailed service reports and submit them on time.
* Conduct risk assessments and report any safety concerns.
* Maintain company vehicles and tools in line with company policies.
* Provide customers with advice on service plans and system upgrades.
* Use PDA software for reporting and scheduling tasks.
* Ensure excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
What We're Looking For:
Essential:
* At least 1 year of electrical or mechanical engineering experience.
* Electrical competency.
* Physically fit for the role (medical assessment may be required).
* Full, clean UK driving licence.
* IT literate (experience using MS Office and PDA reporting systems).
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Desirable:
* 2+ years' experience in the wastewater or water industry.
* Experience with sewage treatment and pump stations.
* Knowledge of Kingspan and other wastewater products.
