Description
* Leading the financial strategy and ensuring long-term financial health.
* Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
* Managing risk, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
* Supporting the executive team with strategic decision-making.
* Working closely with stakeholders to ensure value for money and strong financial governance.
* Lead and manage the accounting & finance department.
* Develop and implement effective financial strategies.
* Reviewing all processes and procedures.
A Successful Interim Finance Director Should Have
* Qualified accountant.
* Proven experience as a Finance Director within the social housing sector.
* Experience of reporting and presenting complex information to Boards or Committees.
* Experience of strategic finance, business planning, and cost analysis.
* Evidence of developing processes and procedures.
* Excellent understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods.
* Experience of performance improvement, quality assurance, risk management, and value for money improvement.
* Proficiency in accounting software.
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and develop teams.
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Job Offer
* £550 - £650 a day.
* Hybrid role - 2 days on site.
* 3-6 month role.
