About the Post
We are looking to appoint a Facilities Manager who would relish the opportunity to join an exciting and progressive journey with a vision to transform education across our community. Twynham School and The Grange School (collectively known as ‘Twynham TGS’) operate a federated staffing focused on delivering a world-class educational experience to students across both of our schools. This is a rare opportunity to join our organisation working as the Facilities Manager based mainly at Twynham School and overseeing the work of the site team across The Grange School.

Who we are looking for
We would love to hear from you if you have:
* A strong background in facilities or estates management
* Good working knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation with proven experience of applying it in a workplace
* First aid qualification (or the ability and willingness to obtain)
* Safer recruitment trained (or the ability and willingness to obtain)
* 5 GCSEs including English and Maths, grade A*-C or equivalent
* Experience or knowledge of working in a school environment
* Proven experience in budgetary control
* Proven ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships (both internal and external) at all levels
* NEBOSH certificate and/or IOSH courses
* Relevant degree or evidence of further professional learning
* Approved qualification in the use of specialist equipment
* Proven track record of leading and inspiring a team, including coaching for improvement
* Experience of using emotional intelligence to manage change effectively
