Project Manager (Hygienic Process and Packaging Industries)
Location: Retford, Nottinghamshire
Salary: £35,000 to £50,000 + Car + Expenses
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2-3 days on-site some weeks)

About this Role
* Support the Project Division Manager
* Engineer and design projects
* Ensure timely delivery and profitable execution of engineered projects
* Plan and carry out operations efficiently, safely, and profitably
* Ensure customer satisfaction
* Quote for and obtain new sources of work and revenue
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations including CDM Regulations and Health & Safety at Work Acts
Skills Required:
* Thorough knowledge of the hygienic process and packaging industries
* Knowledge of capital plant and equipment for the food, dairy, and beverage industries
* Experience with Health & Safety and CDM regulations
* Commercial awareness
* Project management skills
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drawing software
* High level of computer literacy for project estimation and cost tracking
Responsibilities:
* Meet contractual terms and conditions for work undertaken
* Manage relevant disciplines throughout the contract duration
* Communicate technical, commercial, and programme details to relevant staff
* Promote a team approach for the benefit of the company
* Follow Human Resources policies and systems of appraisal
* Quote for new work based on customer specifications
* Design and build process and packaging equipment systems
* Procure materials and labour
* Plan jobs for timely allocation of resources
* Schedule labour and other resources
* Supervise internal and external labour resources
* Liaise with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and subcontractors
* Ensure projects comply with CDM and HASAW procedures
* Manage project budgets to achieve targeted profitability
* Log and record variations of work on projects
* Assist financial team with invoicing and cash collection
* Assist other divisions of the company as required
Full Driving Licence: Essential for the position. The role involves significant travel and time spent on customer premises around the UK and Ireland, with occasional global travel. Overnight stays may be required, and occasional weekend working will be kept to a minimum, with time given in lieu.
