About the role
Customers visit our café for various reasons. Whether it's a hearty breakfast to start their day or a quick snack for those on the go, we're here to provide excellent service. As a member of our Front of House team, you'll play a key role in ensuring a welcoming environment.
With your dedication to excellent service and understanding of health and safety standards, you'll help make each day better. Your responsibilities include serving food and drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and staying updated with our menu and initiatives. We support your career growth with flexible working options and opportunities to progress.
Please note that applicants must be 18 or over.
You will be responsible for
* Serving customers efficiently and with care.
* Resolving customer complaints and informing the Café Manager.
* Following FIFO stock rotation to keep food fresh.
* Adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations and maintaining records.
* Accepting deliveries and storing food safely.
* Following operational policies and procedures.
* Cleaning and sanitising tables to keep the café tidy.
* Maintaining standards and ensuring all food products are available.
* Staying informed about business updates and initiatives.
* Knowing the café menu inside out and serving food correctly.
* Preparing hot and cold drinks for customers.
You will need
* A commitment to excellent customer service.
* Knowledge of health and safety standards.
* Ability to work efficiently and maintain a clean environment.
