Role: Internal Account Manager
Location: Trafford Park

Alcedo Selection is proud to be partnering with the UK’s leading distributor of sheet plastic materials and roll media products. The company operates from 26 locations nationally and services a wide variety of clients across many markets including Sign and Display, Industrial, Construction/Architectural, and Engineering.
They are looking to strengthen the sales force in the Trafford Park office by recruiting a determined Internal Account Manager. The candidate will be responsible for building sales spend into existing accounts and developing project spend with new customers.
Key Tasks
1. Agree with the GM and internal sales team manager on key/development accounts and formulate a strategy to secure the business.
2. Plan a monthly call schedule for customers.
3. Achieve and surpass agreed sales and profit targets.
4. Produce business intelligence reports, incorporating relevant information such as contacts, materials, requirements, pricing, and competitor activity.
5. Utilise system software to quote, follow up, and manage customer contact details.
6. Develop contacts and relationships with customers to ensure we are the first choice for orders, securing first refusal in competitive situations, and understanding customers' regular requirements.
7. Fully understand the properties and applications of the stocked product range. Training will be organized as needed, but self-learning will be advantageous.
8. Increase the customer base and market share by proactively finding and opening new accounts.
9. Identify new products to add to our portfolio and collaborate with the sales and inventory team to promote these products.
10. Be aware of competitor activity and report changes and trends in the marketplace.
11. Work within the credit control procedures agreed by the GM and Credit Manager.
Experience
Ideally, candidates should demonstrate experience in achieving sales and GP targets in a B2B sales environment. Knowledge of selling materials based on application is helpful but not essential. Familiarity with sign & display, industrial, or commercial plastic applications is advantageous but not mandatory. Any experience with Microsoft AX Dynamics is a bonus.
