PSR are working with a leading Tier 1 Civil Engineering Contractor, who specialise in water infrastructure.
As a Preconstruction Manager you'll work as part of a team with the objective of securing profitable future workload for the business.
Utilise process, construction knowledge and commercial experience in conjunction with other members of the bid team to ensure competitive bids.
Role Overview:
Join the Infrastructure unit with a focus on the Water Business. Reporting to the Pre-construction Director, you’ll provide technical expertise for bids and tendering, oversee design and risk processes, and ensure efficient project handover. Work with internal and external design teams to develop cost-effective and compliant plans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design assurance and risk review
• Coordinate external design resources
• Value engineering and tender presentations
• Liaison with clients and stakeholders
Requirements:
* 10+ years in water industry (ideally chartered)
* Strong technical, commercial, and planning skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, risk management, and safety credentials
