McLaughlin & Harvey are one of the leading Building and Civil Engineering Contractors operating throughout the UK and Ireland. We are seeking to recruit an experienced Compliance Officer to join the team. Responsibilities Reporting into the Compliance Advisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with compliance on all aspects of the allocated project with regards to quality, consents, and protocols. This position will support project teams which may comprise of Site Agents, Construction Manager, Site Engineers, Site Supervisors, Foremen and sub-contractors, and will be part of the team that holds responsibility for the management, recording and timely execution of the project quality deliverables in accordance with budgetary, programme and quality requirements. Work along with and support the existing Compliance Team to deliver Quality Assurance documentation that meets and aligns with the requirements of the project and the business. Maintain the company’s Integrated Management System for ISO 9001 - Quality Management Systems and other associated standards and regulations. Ensure all quality planning is undertaken and maintained with the use of the common data environment for workflows of Inspection and Test Plans (ITP ‘s) Ensure Lifetime Quality Records are collated and filed both in electronic and paper format to the standards set out in the Project Quality Plan, associated processes and procedures. Ensure quality inspection checklists are managed efficiently on site. Ensure defects and non-conformance reports (NCR’s) are recorded effectively and in a timely manner. Attend Compliance meetings and take meeting notes and actions to support the planning and execution of quality assurance activities and control measures on site. Experience At least 2 years’ experience working in an administrative role Experience in working within a Team and attending meetings The successful candidate will be happy to travel and work throughout the UK Full Driving Licence IT Skills – in-particular Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word Good organisational skills, with ability to manage time and meet deadlines What's in it for you?
