We are now looking to for a Sales Representative to be a part of our journey as we strive to uphold our position as market leaders and continue to increase our market share presence in line with our business strategy.
Job Overview:
You will play a crucial role by identifying new business opportunities and nurturing relationships within the B2B and wholesale market. Working closely with our Garden Centre Manager you will be responsible for promoting and selling our full range of products and services all whilst being part of a company that truly values and invests in its employees.
Duties:
* Working closely and collaboratively with our Garden Centre Manager and internal stakeholders.
* Creating awareness of who we are, the products and services we offer and our strengths as a manufacturer.
* Driving the growth of the business through sales of the company’s products and services.
* The ability to put the customers’ requirements at the heart of what we do, striving to deliver high quality customer service at all times. Understand customer needs and develop customised solutions to meet requirements
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to ensure retention and satisfaction
* Utilise software to manage leads, track sales activities, and report on progress.
* Attend industry events and networking functions to promote our services and establish connections.
* Provide feedback on market trends, competitor activities to identify opportunities customer preferences, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
Skills Required:
* Proven experience as a Sales Executive or in a similar role within the garden centre industry (preferred but not essential).
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and the ability to work independently.
* Ability to multitask effectively and work well under pressure.
* Full UK driving license and willingness to travel as required.
