One of my local government clients are currently recruiting an experienced Business Support Officer on a temporary basis. This is a 3-month minimum contract with the possibility of the role being extended further to work Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.\n\nHybrid working role were, however, you will be required to attend the office 2/3 times a week.\n\nOverview:\n\n * To provide a comprehensive support and facilitation service to the Exchequer Services division including the provision of excellent customer service at the initial point of contact for Home Ownership Services, Garages, Housing Income, facilities management and any other services that require support within the division.\n\n * To ensure the smooth running of all back office functions and support the day to day running of services within Exchequer.\n\n * To support the Business Support Team Leader and provide cover when they are absent.\n\nResponsibilities/Skills:\n\n * We are looking for individuals with experience of working within a cross-functional team with effective communication skills, verbal and written and a team player.\n\n * You will be working on your own initiative and will be self-motivated, able to make decisions and committed to providing an effective service to all clients, internal and external.\n\n * You will have the ability to use a wide range of computer packages, including MS Office.\n\n * You will need to have a sound understanding of GDPR/Data Protection and good organisation/time management skills.\n\n * You will have good numerical skills to record and process financial transactions, attention to detail while having an understanding and commitment to the Southwark Stands Together programme\n\nIf you are interested in this vacancy, please send your CV to Jahker Miah from Coyle Personnel Ltd
