Job Title: Social Worker – Adult Safeguarding
Location: Bury Metropolitan Borough Council
Rate: £30 per hour
An exciting job role has recently become available at the Bury Metropolitan Borough Council. Hey are looking for a new member for their Adult Safeguarding Team.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will recognize risk indicators of different forms of abuse and neglect. You will understand the impact of abuse and neglect on individuals, families, and support networks. You will prioritize the protection of vulnerable adults, including those who self-neglect. You will demonstrate effective communication and critical thinking skills, and have the ability to work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies. Continuous Professional Development (CPD) is essential, and you will engage in ongoing training and development to stay updated with best practices and new safeguarding strategies.

Qualifications and Experiences:
To be successful in this role, you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a full UK license, have post-qualified experience, and hold a degree level or equivalent qualification in Social Work.
