Our E-Commerce Marketing Manager
The Ecommerce Marketing Manager is responsible for developing a successful sales and marketing strategy, focusing on acquisition, retention, and conversion to meet commercial targets and deliver consistent growth in our customer base.
You will establish transparent and traceable ways of working so that performance can be measured across all sales and marketing channels, with the observed insights and trends informing ongoing strategy and day-to-day decision making.
You will run a creative team, taking responsibility for development of creative assets across brand-building and performance-driving channels including in-store POS, email, PPC, SEO, and paid social. You will work closely with agencies to develop strategies for each channel.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver the sales and marketing plan across all channels aligned with targets and long-term objectives for growth.
* Ownership of the marketing budget.
* Identify and prioritise key opportunities to drive growth of our active customer base.
* Improve customer lifetime value.
* Measure and report on strategic marketing KPIs across acquisition, conversion, and retention.
* Oversee and deliver implementation of strategic marketing projects, campaigns, systems, and processes.
* Lead market research, business, and competition intelligence, providing insights for further business development and market expansion.
* Manage, nurture, and retain a team of marketing professionals, scaling the team in line with business growth.
* Coordinate customer experience & proposition functions and ensure delivery of customer engagement KPIs.
* Champion development of E-commerce website front-end functionality and ensure implementation of best practices that continuously improve user experience.
* Coordinate with relevant stakeholders across Product, Logistics, Creative & PR, and HR departments.

What we’re looking for
* A degree/certification in either marketing, economics or business administration is highly preferable.
* 5+ years management experience in B2C sales, digital marketing, and ecommerce with strong commercial acumen.
* Strong leadership, interpersonal, partnership, and influence management skills.
* Customer-centric view on business processes and products.
* Good understanding of microeconomics application: customer demand, supply, proposition, and pricing strategies.
* Broad understanding across all disciplines of modern digital marketing mix including paid search, email, social, influencer, affiliate, editorial content creation.
* Proven track record of planning and implementing sales and marketing strategy across acquisition, conversion optimisation, and retention.
* Experience in participating and leading successful implementation of large-scale projects and marketing campaigns.
* High affinity for data, aiming for statistical objectivity and precision in measuring performance and reporting on KPIs.
* Strong technical level of operating with multiple sophisticated IT systems and platforms.
* Be equally comfortable operating at a strategic level and executing at a tactical level to help and inspire your reports.
* A proactive self-starter with a 'can-do' attitude and collaborative nature.
