Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented Relief Chef de Partie to join our vibrant kitchen team and help us create outstanding dishes for our guests. As a Relief Chef de Partie, you will support our kitchen team in the London museums to deliver high-quality, seasonal menus across our various dining outlets. You will assist in food preparation, cooking, and presentation, ensuring that all dishes meet our standards for taste and quality. This role requires flexibility, teamwork, and a passion for culinary excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals in accordance with the menu and dietary requirements.
2. Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of taste and presentation.
3. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
4. Support the Head Chef and Sous Chefs in managing kitchen operations.
5. Help in the training and development of junior kitchen staff.
6. Contribute to menu planning and special event catering.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a professional kitchen.
2. Strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
3. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain high standards.
4. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
5. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
