About The Service Rhondda Short Breaks provides overnight short breaks for children and youngpeople from Rhondda Cynon Taff who have physical disability, learning disabilities and complex needs. This service is available for young people aged 5-18 years old, giving them a high-quality break from home and their families some much-needed rest. Many of the children we support may have substantial and highly complex needs and playing outside benefits their health, wellbeing and development. How You'll Help To Create Brighter Futures You’ll be engaging in enjoyable activities both within the project and within the community. You’ll be assuming responsibility for the personal care and daily routines of the young individuals, providing support with personal hygiene, communication, administering of medication and ensuring the safeguarding of our young people by accurate recording and reporting.
