Job Description
This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects and drive excellence in every aspect of Quantity Surveying. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Project Budget Management: Collaborate with the Project Accountant to prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring smooth monthly updates and accurate financial forecasting.
* Diverse Projects: Be part of prestigious high-end residential developments, with occasional involvement in commercial projects.
* Cash flow Expertise: Prepare detailed monthly and 10-year cash flow plans, ensuring financial clarity and precision.
* Contracts & Agreements: Negotiate and finalise contractor and sub-contractor agreements, securing the best outcomes.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise effectively with insurers, contractors, and project teams to maintain seamless communication.
* Valuations & Payments: Prepare and review valuations, benchmark payments, and drive value for money at every stage.
* Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to Health & Safety regulations while improving reporting standards to enhance transparency and efficiency.
The Successful Applicant

* Qualifications & Experience: Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying with a proven track record in managing complex, high-value projects.
* Collaborative Skills: Ability to work seamlessly across teams, from finance to in-house and third-party contractors.
* Exceptional Organisation: Excellent prioritisation and multitasking skills to meet deadlines with ease.
* Confident Communicator: Professional demeanour with strong interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and negotiating effectively.
