The ideal candidate will hold experience in cleaning and minor maintenance work, demonstrating the ability to work efficiently and independently. Strong communication skills are essential to maintain clear and effective communication with the in-house voids team. The candidate must be capable of handling and safely disposing of hazardous materials. Additionally, a valid driving license is required, along with the ability to comfortably drive a tipper truck or similar vehicle. In this position, you will be responsible for working as a part of the in-house voids team ensuring all voids are cleared of items and cleaned to a lettable standard. You may occasionally complete minor works in voids as required. You will drive a tipper truck or similar vehicle to various Hightown sites daily whilst keeping your vehicle fully stocked with materials to ensure efficient service. Key Responsibilities: Work alongside Multi-trade Operatives to complete removals/storage of items in voids in a timely manner. Thoroughly clean properties to a lettable standard, including removal of waste, detritus, and hazardous material. Store cleaning tools, materials, and equipment in line with COSHH regulations. Assist the caretaking team in completing outstanding work tickets during low void work periods. Safely deal with and dispose of drug and weapon-related paraphernalia. Undertake minor works within Hightown properties and communal areas as required. Maintain clear communication with the in-house voids team to discuss estimated completion dates and times. Discard rubbish and lumber at designated tipping points, keeping a log of weight or capacity as required. Report to and update the Voids Supervisor as required. Ensure adequate stock is kept in the vehicle and minimise ad-hoc stock collections. Ensure efficient journeys to reduce travel time. Complete work in gardens linked to void properties as necessary. Essential Qualifications & Requirements: Experience in cleaning and minor maintenance work. Valid driving license. Why Join Us?
