What the job involves As an Administrator / Note Taker in Adult Services and Health, you will report to a Team Leader, providing a customer-focused and efficient administrative service. Your key responsibilities include prioritizing daily tasks in line with team requirements, delivering high-quality administrative tasks within agreed timescales, and offering support remotely or flexibly across West Sussex County Council office hubs. Your tasks are likely to involve note-taking at complex and sensitive meetings, arranging large-scale events, coordinating statutory panels, collating and presenting information clearly, preparing reports and agendas, and maintaining accurate records. In this role, you will produce factual and grammatically correct meeting notes and reports, handle confidential information with care, process financial transactions like Purchase Orders and invoicing, develop good working relationships with colleagues, and conduct your work in accordance with the values of trust, support, customer-centered service, and inclusivity promoted by the organization.
