Middleweight Web Developer
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Annual leave: 20 days, plus 3 days between Christmas and New Year. After 5 years of service, an additional day will be added per year for 5 years, adding up to a total of 25 days.
Office based: 2 day discretionary working from home.

You will be working with the senior web developer to take their online offer to the next level. Daily technologies will involve work with WordPress, PHP, MySQL & Javascript.
You will also be working alongside Reach’s creative studio team to produce bespoke performant websites for a wide range of clientele. No two designs are the same and often you will be required to think outside of the box to complete tasks. As such, a strong understanding of CSS will be required for this role.
You will also be required to maintain/update our legacy PHP based websites which range from WordPress to vanilla PHP/MySQL based systems. These range from large property import scripts to ticketing systems built using third party libraries.
You will also often be required to build bespoke HTML emailers to be sent out via Campaign Monitor (similar to Mailchimp).
Key responsibilities:
* Building bespoke websites per the design studios brief whilst adhering to accessibility and best practices.
* Liaising with clients and the design team to share ideas and best-practice knowledge.
* Researching technical requirements for new projects and assisting with developing client proposals.
* Sharing technical knowledge during the wire-framing and design stages.
* Providing on-going support to resolve errors and/or bugs.
* Building HTML emailers.
* Maintaining version control through GIT/Github.
* Updating and maintaining existing websites.
