We are looking for enthusiastic and innovative individuals to join our expanding pharmacy team. One of the biggest pharmacy departments in the country, the team at Sheffield Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust comprises approximately 500 pharmacy staff working across five sites.
Our inclusive & diverse pharmacy department has an excellent record of developing staff and there are many opportunities for progression.

Applicants:
* Must be willing to work towards a Level 2 in Pharmacy Services Assistant qualification.
* AfC Band 3 honoured on completion of Pharmacy Services Assistant course and when local competencies are achieved.
Main duties of the job
* Dispensing medications.
* Collecting and delivering medicines to and from wards and departments.
* Visiting wards and departments and maintaining appropriate drug stock levels.
* To provide support in the delivery of a quality dispensing and supplies service.
* To provide support in implementing developments within operational services to meet the needs of the patient.
* To label, dispense and supply prescriptions.
* To work flexibly between the hours of 7.30am and 9pm as part of the operational team, in order to provide and maintain a comprehensive pharmaceutical service in line with current departmental policies and procedures.
Please note applicant must be a UK, EEA, or EU resident for at least the past three years to undertake the training programme.
Please also note this vacancy is a training post so all applicants will start at Band 2 and upon completion of necessary skills and/or training will progress to Band 3.
