Group Financial Controller | Professional Services c.£100k package Nottingham GM29455 The Opportunity Finatal is working exclusively on a search for a Group Financial Controller to join a Private Equity backed Professional Services Business. Currently turning over £20mil, the business is scaling rapidly through an aggressive buy and build strategy, bolting on acquisitions to their significant structure. This hire has been made at a critical time during the business’ growth journey and expansion. This role will be pivotal in supporting the CFO with all group consolidation matters and acquisition integration. Key responsibilities will include liaising across the group on all reporting, targeting new acquisitions and subsequent integration activity, and implementation and improvement of new processes and controls. The Role · Taking full ownership of running day to day finance, reporting into a top-quality PE CFO, including responsibility for all controls and processes at Group level. · Further develop a strong and stable finance team, making improvements and ensuring the function is operating to the highest possible standard. · Professionalise and develop the Finance Function to nurture and aid the aggressive growth trajectory the business is on. · Key role in M&A, and latterly integration activity across Europe. · Ensure that financial controls and processes are in place and adhered to across all the group. · Support the CFO in preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts. · Working with operational teams to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives. The Requirements · ACA/ ACCA / CIMA Qualified · Preferable experience of working in Financial Services. · Group Consolidation experience. · Previously worked in a business of scale, with a track record of developing and improving systems and processes. · Experience in M&A / integrations. · Ambitious, dedicated and hardworking, with a strong track record of progression and success. Candidates will be analytical thinkers with excellent commercial acumen and strong interpersonal skills. · Proven ability to operate, and excel, within a fast paced, challenging and changing environment.
