As a Logistics Operations Analyst, you will be an integral part of our Order Handling team, taking on the daily responsibilities of logistics coordination with a keen focus on on-time delivery. Your role will involve reviewing short to medium-term orders to confirm schedules, optimizing both service and cost.
What you’ll do at Elekta
You'll support the deployment of our logistics strategy through insightful analytics and continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, you will build and maintain strong relationships with Logistics Service Providers, overseeing transport, warehousing, and customs operations to ensure optimal performance, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
Your role will include both strategic and tactical responsibilities (but not limited to):
Strategic:
* Working closely with internal (including Indirect procurement) and external functions to support the execution of logistics strategy.
* Using data analytics and digital tools to track performance, provide insights into supply chain performance (including key performance indicators; cost, volumes, savings, and service), report on trends and make recommendations for change.
* Support the overall supply chain functions through logistics Continuous Improvement using metrics and data to lead decisions to maintain optimized cost and service levels, with a strong data-driven focus to digitalize and automate processes.
* Working with other PSC (e.g. EBMS) to standardize, harmonize and optimize processes, systems, data, visibility, and reporting.
Tactical:
* Review of order and shipment plan to coordinate and manage logistics arrangements for outbound orders, overseeing Control Tower, transport, customs, and warehouse.
* Ensure compliance with both internal and external partners on regulatory, legal, security, customs, trade compliance, and DG handling rules.
* Point of escalation for logistics issues and coordination of corrective actions and preventative actions through capturing, trending, and root cause analysis.
* Actively take part in performance management and development of LSPs through annual/quarterly/monthly business reviews.
* Logistics cost control – authorization point for spot quotes (within agreed limits), review & code invoices and carry out spot checks to ensure cost management, working with external parties for spot quote and invoice audit.

* Strong customer focus, both internal and external.
* High standard of interpersonal skills with strong communication at all levels including written and verbal English at business level; second language an advantage.
* High ethical standards, values, and sound business judgment.
What you bring
* Experience working within logistics/supply chain industry with a focus on transport management processes and systems, with a track record of process improvement and optimization.
* Experience of working in international supply chains adhering to trade compliance regimes including Export Control.
* Well-developed IT skills for MS Office and application knowledge MRP/ERPs, WMS, TMS, and Business Intelligence tools (BI, Qlik, Tableau) expertise in one or more is an advantage.
* Project management skills and experience.
