Salary: £30,800 OTE (including up to £26,000 basic dependent on experience, plus bonus)
Hours: (42) Monday - Thursday 8.00am - 5.00pm - Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm
Lookers Newcastle Paint and Body Centre is recruiting for a Bodyshop Advisor to join the team and work alongside our amazing Cosmetic repair technicians and Estimator, to provide a professional and friendly service to our Lookers customers. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop a career with the Bodyshop team.
As a Bodyshop Advisor, you will provide a courteous, welcoming, and professional service as customer liaison both in person, via telephone and email. You will also be responsible for welcoming customers to site, ensuring all visitors consistently receive a professional and courteous welcome, dealing with incoming customer/insurance enquiries, and making customer bookings.
Minimum Requirements:
You must have previous experience in a similar customer-facing role. Motor trade or Bodyshop experience is desirable, but not essential. You will have strong customer service skills and focus, and you will need to have a full driving licence with a good driving record.
* Provide regular communication to customers keeping them informed of repair progress, additional work needed or vehicle completion.
* Ensure Lookers database is kept up to date.
* Manage and administer all work in line with Lookers defined processes.
* Upsell bodywork and wheel repair work to customers as appropriate.
* Process invoices and ensure payment is received in full before vehicles are released.
* Liaise with internal aftersales colleagues to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
* Help manage customer problems, complaints, and difficult situations bringing them to a speedy, satisfactory conclusion for all concerned.
