Known for their pragmatic and commercial approach, the team delivers advice in a creative and supportive manner. They also focus on in-house client training programmes and HR delivery. Skills & Experience We seek a solicitor with a demonstrable interest in a career in employment law and relevant post-qualifying experience in a leading regional or well respected practice. As a solicitor with our client, you will be bright, enterprising, and motivated, with excellent analytical and drafting skills and confidence in front of clients. The ideal candidate will be a technically strong employment lawyer looking for responsibility, client contact, and the opportunity to advise on a broad range of client issues, principally from an employer perspective. This role will particularly appeal to someone seeking a modern approach to client support, providing consultative employment/HR advice, and joining a department with aspirations for growth and development. Key Responsibilities Advisory, contentious, and transactional matters predominantly on behalf of businesses/respondents. Recent projects include implementing and designing a new pay and grading structure, workforce restructure and redundancy exercises, designing and delivering management and leadership programmes, managing disciplinary, grievance, and performance procedures, and managing TUPE transfer arrangements.
