Our public sector client based in Lincoln has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Office Administrator to join their team as soon as possible. The role will be temporary on going and the standard office hours will be either 8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-5:00pm, working 4 days per week initially. The pay rate of the role will be £12.50-£13.00 per hour depending on experience. There is potential to work from home once fully trained, but this is not guaranteed and may be a fully office-based role. There may also be a requirement to attend external meetings or site visits. Working within the Events, Tourism and Culture Team, you will be required to support the department with a variety of administrative duties including:- · Assisting with the role as the secretariat for the Safety Advisory Group · Taking minutes, organising meetings and agendas · Monitoring the events inbox and dealing with enquiries · Making and keeping a log of purchases · Providing administrative support to the Events Officer, maintaining records, systems and information as requested · Assist with the implementation of the annual work programme for events · Provide assistance to the Events Officer in developing and implementing event management plans We are looking for someone who has a strong administration background with excellent IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.), someone who is enthusiastic, can work well under pressure, good communication skills and effective time management abilities. Experience taking minutes would be preferable, as this is a duty that would be required imminently.
