Pitch Manager –

A global law firm is looking to recruit a Pitch Manager to be based one of their UK offices. The role will see you working in a team of 10 and reporting to the Head of Pitch. where you will be working closely with the Africa team on African based opportunities.
The role will focuses on helping the firm win new profitable business by responding to pitch opportunities. You will be responsible for project managing the creation of pitches and presentation materials, working across the firms practice groups, sectors and offices with an emphasis on opportunities from Africa/
Role
* Advise and challenge legal teams on the decision to respond to pitch opportunities
* Lead pitches in accordance with best practice pitch process
* Developing the pitch strategy including win themes and value proposition
* Developing pitch content that is compelling and focused on the client
* Coordinate presentation rehearsals offering advice, coaching on style, approach, messaging
* Conducting client debriefs to capture feedback
About you
* Experience of working on public tenders and/or multi-lot frameworks is desired
* Excellent communication skills in English and French - both written and oral
* Excellent interpersonal skills, able to exercise tact and diplomacy
* Negotiation and influencing skills
* Commercial awareness and acumen
* An ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information
* Experience in dealing with a demanding workload and conflicting priorities
* A collaborative working style, able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
