Role Purpose: Supports the value management office and portfolio teams through documentation, implementation, monitoring and improvement of planning & governance frameworks, tools, and direct assistance, to assure delivery of value.

The role:
1. Supports implementation of value management and planning governance frameworks, through the creation & dissemination of guidance, working practices, templates, within an agreed framework.
2. Maintains value management and planning governance frameworks, policies, processes and procedures, and ensures effective documentation of these, within an agreed framework.
3. Monitors quality KPIs and flags compliance issues and practices that deviate from standards.
4. Accountable for accuracy of tasks given to support process and governance team within the VMO.
5. Supports process improvement initiatives to streamline operations, eliminate waste, and drive efficiency gains across the organisation.
6. Collects data for quality analysis from various sources (process observations, stakeholder feedback).
7. Validates data and tasks to ensure accuracy and completeness of quality control records.
8. Analyses quality control data to identify trends and potential issues, and implements corrective actions.
9. Plans quality assurance and testing activities.
10. Prepares reports and maintains quality control activity records.
11. Analyses existing processes in Arqiva to identify weaknesses, inefficiencies and non-compliance issues.
The person:
1. Proficiency in process improvement methodologies, to identify inefficiencies, streamline processes, and drive operational excellence.
2. Understanding of governance principles and practices to establish governance frameworks, policies, and procedures that ensure compliance, accountability, and transparency.
3. Process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
4. Good attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
5. Excellent analytical skills to analyse relevant data against performance indicators, identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities to improve.
6. Strong problem-solving skills to evaluate issues and collaborate with wider quality team to develop solutions.
7. Effective communication and reporting skills to communicate audit findings, insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
8. Awareness of quality management principles and methodologies (e.g. Six Sigma).
9. Familiarity with process mapping and documentation techniques to assist in capturing current state processes and identifying improvement opportunities.
10. Basic understanding of governance principles and practices to contribute to the establishment and maintenance of governance frameworks.
11. Proficiency in collaboration tools and software platforms to facilitate communication and document sharing within the team.
12. Eagerness to learn and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging feedback, data analysis, and best practices.
13. Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve common goals and objectives.
