Credit Controller
Dudley (Hybrid role 2 fixed days in office, Wednesday and Friday, 3 days home office)
Monday - Friday 8:30-5pm
Salary - £23,000 depending on experience with bonus opportunities

In the UK we have 10 businesses covering a range of business services from Pest Control, Washroom Hygiene, Specialist Cleaning, Interior Plants through to Property Preservation & Dental & Clinical Waste management.
We are currently recruiting for a Credit Controller to join our established Finance team in Dudley.
Key responsibilities of the Credit Controller will include the following:
* Debt management and collection of customer accounts
* Responsible for own section of ledger
* Achievement of agreed collection targets
* Provide reports on performance of accounts
* Control and monitor the daily debt
* Monitor cash allocation and propose corrective action on allocated accounts where needed
* Ensure correct procedures and processes are in place as per credit policy established to chase payments from customers on a regular basis
* Escalate serious issues to Team Leader or the Credit Manager
* Ensure all daily tasks are achieved i.e. unallocated cash, taking accounts off dispute, chase customers when promise to pay date fails to result in payment
* Ensure that your customers are your first priority and excellent customer service is delivered at all times
* Manage a high level workload and pick up any ad hoc projects to support the department
* Ensure that all Business Operational Manager queries are resolved within agreed timeframes
* Ensure all Client queries are resolved within agreed timeframes
* Other general administrative duties associated within the Finance Shared Service Centre
* Develop effective regular communication links with stakeholders
* Accountable for delivering against own role description
* Take ownership of targets and objectives
Requirements:
To be considered for the Credit Controller position you will ideally have the following:
Essential:
* 2+ years experience in Credit Control
* Experience managing your own Ledger of Accounts
* Familiar with MS Office 365 formulas, formatting and sorting
* Previous call handling experience
* Ability to follow the Hybrid working structure
Desirable:
* Experience working in Finance Shared Services
* Experience managing commercial customers
* Self-motivated, enthusiastic and flexible
