Our fine art shipping and removals client is currently looking for a Fine Art Shipping Coordinator to join their team in London.
As Fine Art Shipping Coordinator, a typical day will involve liaising with clients, as well as working with colleagues in the transport, packing and storage departments. You will be responsible for shipping movements from start to finish.
Fine Art Shipping Coordinator duties include:
* Handling quotations in a timely manner.
* Managing all practical arrangements for export and import shipments.
* Completing Export and Import documentation for Airfreight, Sea Freight and exhibition shipments.
* Ensuring all clients are kept informed as to all stages of their shipments and receive all relevant copy documentation.
* Liaising with clients, working with transport, packing and storage departments.
* Where necessary and when requested by the client, overseeing other aspects of shipping processes including local/storage/import work.
* Arranging collections and deliveries with the client in consultation with the transport manager and making practical arrangements directly with our clients to ensure smooth collections and deliveries as required.
* Arranging packing as required in a suitable manner, supplying the packing room department with full packing sheets and relevant information.
* Keeping up to date on all HMRC and other legislation and company procedures to complete all necessary documentation and keep all records accurately.
* Ensuring all shipments are invoiced in a timely manner.
* Attending operations meetings.
* Maintaining the company's shared documents covering all imports.
We're keen to speak to import/export professionals from a shipping/forwarding/transportation background, who have experience dealing with airfreight.
The successful Fine Art Shipping Coordinator will be offered up to £35,000, in line with skills and experience.
