Our adult services programme is looking to expand our offering within our care packages in the Dorchester and Wareham region. We are looking for a Support Team Leader to join our team in making a difference in the lives of the people we support.
Your role as a Support Team Leader will be key to the smooth running of the service, ensuring we promote the growth of the people we support. As a senior member of the team, you will work closely with the Registered Manager, demonstrating best practice, and providing day to day support, guidance and direction to your colleagues.
Unfortunately, this is not a position that we can offer sponsorship for, under the skilled worker route.
A day in the life of a Support Team Leader would include:
* Supporting the smooth running of the service, ensuring we promote the growth of the people we support
* Work closely with the Registered Manager, demonstrating best practice
* Providing guidance and direction to colleagues/ new starters
* Continuously reviewing Max care plan ensuring exciting updates and progress are always recorded
* Completing medication audits
* Ordering medication when needed
* Being on call (on a rota basis)
* Managing staff spot checks
Hours of work:
8am - 4pm or 4pm - 10pm
You would be required to work alternate weekends and complete sleep ins.
