Assisting Test Engineers in the operation of the test equipment to obtain performance data and working to resolve problems such as equipment issues and malfunctions with bias towards electrical installations, circuits, and power distribution systems.
Carry out build, modification and testing of electrical circuits and power distribution units.Electrical Technician, key Accountabilities:
1. Installing, maintaining, modifying and repairing all electrical systems on all test stand platforms.
2. Ensuring that electrical systems adhere to the national electrical safety standards and regulations.
3. Supervising ongoing electrical system installations and providing technical expertise to installation teams where needed.
4. Using schematic, wiring diagrams and manufacturer’s installation drawings to complete projects.
5. Completing work orders and recording materials that are used on the job, for future job tasks.
6. Identifying electrical problems and repairing them.
7. Advising the company’s management when to replace aged electrical equipment to prevent hazards.
