About the Team The role is within the Rights of Way team, part of County Highways. There are 1700 miles of Rights of Way (footpaths, bridleways and others) in the County and we are responsible for the upkeep of these and the legal matters relating to them. We work with numerous volunteer groups across the county to deliver maintenance and improvements to the network. About the Role This is an exciting role supporting the Rights of Way team. It can be guaranteed that no two days will be the same. You will be the first point of contact with the team by answering telephone calls and emails from customers and organisations on all aspects of Rights of Way work. Some you can solve but others may need directing to the appropriate officer or organisation You will be responsible for admin tasks including such things as raising purchase orders, logging income, responding to emails and for logging faults on the reporting system. Knowledge of Rights of Way is desirable but full training will be given.
