Role Summary:
As a Shop Leader, you will play a crucial role in maintaining operational systems and processes, including the management of stock levels, pricing through PLU numbers, sales promotions, and till operations. You will lead by example, demonstrating the values of Nurturing by Nature in every customer interaction and operational task, aiming to enhance customer satisfaction and team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
* Manage and update till functions, including the addition and removal of buttons.
* Create new PLU numbers as necessary for inventory adjustments.
* Conduct full stock takes and reset stock levels on EPOS systems.
* Implement promotional discounts or sale buttons as needed.
Customer-Centric Leadership:
* Directly engage with customers to resolve issues and enhance their shopping experience.
* Initiate and lead projects aimed at improving customer satisfaction and repeat business.
* Monitor and respond to customer feedback and reviews.
Team Leadership and Development:
* Provide regular coaching and development opportunities for team members.
* Organise and lead team meetings and recognition events to boost morale and engagement.
* Cultivate a culture of growth and internal promotion within the team.
Operational Excellence:
* Ensure high standards of store cleanliness, organisation, and presentation.
* Maintain inventory accuracy and complete tasks within set deadlines.
* Adhere to and enforce compliance with health, safety, and operational policies.
Agility and Problem-Solving:
* Respond swiftly and effectively to operational challenges and customer issues.
* Create and put in place plans for unexpected situations.
* Drive innovations and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in retail management or a similar leadership role.
* Strong ability to lead and motivate a team, with a focus on maintaining company values.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
* High level of proficiency with EPOS systems and stock management software.
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
