YOUR ROLE
Our ocean team based in Ashby de la Zouch, are looking for a dynamic and customer centric AOS Destination Account Coordinator where you will oversee and streamline operational processes, ensuring a seamless client service to meet operational excellence and customer expectations.
This hybrid role will see you working Monday to Friday, 08:30-16:30.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Reporting into the AOS Product Head, you will collaborate with a diverse team where you will ensure customer expectations are not only met but exceeded, while overseeing operational activities for key air and ocean solution accounts.
Coordinate and manage destination delivery bookings, ensuring smooth scheduling and on-time arrivals.
Proactively address and resolve operational issues, collaborating with key stakeholders to minimise disruptions.
Oversee daily data validation checks to detect missing or incorrect data, resolving issues promptly and without delay.
Monitor and manage shipment and container delays, identifying root causes and implementing remedial solutions.
Prepare and submit customs declarations, ensuring full compliance following regulatory requirements.
Communicate shipment delays, keeping all stakeholders informed and ensure swift resolutions.
Monitor container inbound milestones.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date data records, ensuring systems are updated.
Produce daily and weekly reports to support customer supply chain.
Support the AOS Product Head with any ad-hoc tasks as and when required.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Our ideal candidate will have proven experience working within ocean or air freight environment, along with a solid understanding of import and export processes. You will demonstrate excellent customer service, a commitment to process excellence, and strong communication and organisational skills. As a collaborative team player, you will effectively contribute to our dynamic work environment driving engagement and high performance. You will be IT literate, able to use freight systems and MS office-based programs such as Excel and Office.
