Job Title: Site Engineer (Piling - Setting Out)

Day Rate: (Apply online only) per day (Negotiable based on experience)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:30/6:00pm
Company Overview:
Our client, a leading principal contractor, is looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join their team on a fast-paced construction project in Milton Keynes. The project requires precise setting out for up to 70 piles per day, and will last between 8 to 12 weeks during the piling phase. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer to play a key role in a high-profile project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting out up to 70 piles per day on a busy construction site.
- Using Robotic EDM for accurate setting out.
- Coordinating with the site team to ensure the project runs smoothly and on schedule.
- Ensuring all piling activities are set out correctly and in accordance with the project specifications.
- Maintaining clear and accurate site records and reporting any issues promptly.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations on site.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of experience working as a Site/Setting Out Engineer on UK construction projects.
- Proven ability to set out independently on large-scale piling projects.
- Proficient in the use of Robotic EDM for setting out.
- Valid CSCS card .
- A BSc in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification is required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage a fast-paced workload.
