An opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join a well-established company specialising in premium coated abrasive products.
This full-time role offers excellent benefits and a salary range of £34,000 - £36,000.
As an Accounts Assistant, you will handle year-end accounts preparation, VAT management, bank reconciliation, and a variety of administrative tasks, including preparing import and export documentation.
Responsibilities:
1. Handling bank and credit card reconciliation, including multi-currency reconciliation.
2. Managing data entry and processing payroll.
3. Processing all supplier invoices and generating sales invoices.
4. Overseeing credit control, ensuring prompt payment of outstanding balances.
5. Preparing essential import and export documentation.
6. Assisting the marketing manager with sales and customer reports.
7. Serving as the main point of contact for customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
What we are looking for:
1. Previously worked as an Accounts Administrator, Accounts Assistant, Accounts Admin, Assistant Accountant, Accounts Payable Administrator, Purchase Ledger, Credit Controller, Purchase Ledger Clerk, Accounts Clerk, Finance Assistant, Finance Administrator, Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
2. Ideally have 3 years of experience using Sage Accounting Software.
3. Strong communication and organisational skills.
4. Skilled in IT skills, including Excel, Word, and other relevant software.
Shifts:
1. Monday - Thursday: 9am - 5pm
2. Friday: 9:00 - 4:30pm
