CK Group are looking for a R&D Senior Analyst, to join a global FMCG company's product development team, at their research and development centre in Reading, on a 3 month contract. \n\nThe Company:\n\n Our client is a global business who develop and manufacture fast moving consumer goods for domestic and commercial uses.\n\nLocation:\n\n The role is based in Reading.\n\nRole:\n\nProvide high quality standardised methodology execution in accordance to external authority requirements such as:-\nBatch production records.\nSample testing and qualification.\nEquipment calibrations.\nAdherence to global/site methods and site SOP's.\nEnsure timely delivery of testing data and reports for testing.\nSample submission logging into Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELN).\nProvide communication to Supervisor and support timely investigation of all compliance findings, retests, and test deviation investigations and actions.\nCollaborate with supervisor on quality and Safety inspection findings and support execution of any resulting improvement programs.\nHighlight to the supervisor any problems associated with work which might pose a hazard or impact quality.\nHighlight to the Laboratory supervisor any observed compliance outages within the laboratory.\nHave personal ownership for quality of work; working with supervisor to implement recommended improvements.\nScheduling and tracking for all agreed activities.\nYour Background:\n\nExperience in an Wet chemical/Analytical/QC laboratory including batch making techniques.\nExperience of pH, Viscosity, Rheology and colour measures.\nStrong Good Science aptitude and good practices focus.\nExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a passion for accuracy and attention to detail.\nA proactive thinker who can anticipate future issues and propose pragmatic solutions.\nExcellent interpersonal skills.\nStrong Analytical thinking and problem solving.\nGood Computer literacy.\nExperience/ Qualifications:\n\nBSc in a scientific field and or laboratory experience, preferably including broader industry experience.\nRecent experience in chemical industry with good manufacturing and laboratory practice knowledge (e.g. quality control).\nGood knowledge of analytical techniques used for product development and quality controls.\nApply:\n\n It is essential that applicants hold entitlement to work in the UK.
