Hours: Term Time only – up to 31.5 hours per week, Mon - Fri 8.30am – 3.15pm

About the role
1. Follow timetabled activities as directed by the Teacher/Assistant Headteacher or Headteacher
2. Set up indoor/outdoor areas for start of session ensuring all equipment and resources are ready and confirming with colleagues that all areas are set-up and ready
3. Ensure resources and equipment are tidied away at end of sessions so that areas are ready to be set-up for next session/day
4. Carry out administrative duties efficiently and effectively as directed by the class teacher/head teacher
5. Deal with accidents, emergencies and illnesses
6. Support pupils who have intimate care needs, or who have had a toileting accident, in accordance with the school’s intimate care policy.
7. Prepare and maintain safe learning environments
8. Contribute to the planning and evaluation of teaching and learning activities through participation in team meetings
9. Attend TA meetings as directed by the Assistant Headteacher

About you
We would welcome applications from people with classroom experience, holders of NVQ 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or graduates who are looking to go into teaching eventually.
