We are on the lookout for a high-energy General Manager, inspired by a fast-paced performance-driven culture.
Halo centres are all vital community assets which are well used and supported by the local population. All centres are located in and around Bridgnorth and the surrounding Shropshire area, with very different demographics and local community needs within 15 miles of each other. We are very proud of how embedded and versatile the service offerings are within all of these facilities.
Bridgnorth and the Severn Centre have both received capital investment within the last 24 months, creating beautiful and unique purpose-built community facilities, so there is plenty to get your teeth into at these sites to help continue the positive growth path the centres are enjoying.
Bridgnorth has a vibrant swimming lesson programme, with ample opportunity to continue to grow this part of the product offer. The Severn Centre has a LIDO which opens during the summer months, adding to the diverse portfolio of services which are operated in partnership from this facility.
Given the proximity on the school site in Bridgnorth, you can also develop your relationship management skills with local education professionals for mutual gain. This role presents a fantastic career development opportunity for an ambitious leisure professional in a growing and progressive company.
You will be a key player in the future of this centre and have the opportunity to get involved in projects outside your centre to support your personal development and the growth and success of the organisation.
You will need some supervisory or duty management experience, earned in a customer-facing environment, an ambitious streak, and a willingness to learn and mature on the job. This is a great career stepping stone role into Partnership or Area Management for the future.
