Job overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a Nursing Associate to develop their career and clinical skills to deliver the highest quality care to patients admitted to the Acute Cardiac Ward.
The post holder will work on Ward 2, which is an 18 bedded inpatient unit caring for patients with a wide variety of cardiac conditions such as Myocardial Infarction, Heart Failure, Arrhythmias, Endocarditis, and Pericardial Effusions. Interventions are carried out on our Silver Heart Unit (Ward 1) based next door, so pre and post care of patients undergoing interventional procedures will be incorporated into the role.

5. Safely undertake the following procedures to meet the patient’s nursing needs.
6. Prioritise and manage own workload.
