Description
The Key Responsibilities of this Peterborough based FMCG role titled Sourcing and Procurement Co-ordinator - Food will be to:
* Drive our risk management agenda, owning processes and tracking of our BCPs/SLAs/Contracts.
* Support the team in NPD & EPD projects, including managing smaller projects.
* Collate supplier information and take an active role in procurement meetings and supplier visits, outlining performance and any recurring quality trends.
* Support the team on EPR, Carbon, and ESG projects from initiation to delivery.
* Be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and review of all key Procurement logs ensuring they remain up to date and accurate.
* Work collaboratively with the department to review all internal procurement processes for greater automation and drive efficiency.
* Manage all aspects of account management for smaller suppliers, including any budgetary aspects.
* Be accountable for collating our packaging, raw materials, and bought-in product non-conformance reports, ensuring quality issues are reported allowing remedial actions to be put in place via category lead, with KPIs reported monthly.
* Complete internal product information database system in a timely manner for the procurement department for all new product setups, including pallet plan data, weights & measures of packaging and materials.
* Conduct monthly OTIF reporting - managing and coordinating this data ready for S&OP report.
Profile
To be successful within this Peterborough based FMCG role titled Sourcing and Procurement Co-ordinator - Food you will have:
* A keen eye for detail - especially when it comes to processing invoices and keeping accurate records.
* Strong computer skills - experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is helpful, and my client will teach you the rest.
* Great organizational skills - you're good at managing tasks and staying on top of deadlines.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* A continuous improvement mindset.
* A willingness to learn about purchasing, quality, and supply chain processes - prior experience is a bonus but not essential.
* Hybrid working - You'll be based in the office a minimum of 2-3 days a week.
