HR Manager
Salary: £40,000 FTE (30 hours)
Our client, a leading manufacturer, is currently seeking an HR Manager to join their team. Reporting into the board, this is a standalone HR Manager role with responsibility for dealing with all operational HR matters and providing HR support.
Responsibilities
1. Be the first point of call for employees, providing them with training and development information, career opportunities, and employee wellbeing.
2. Develop, implement and update HR policies and procedures.
3. Manage the recruitment process including liaising with departments to develop job descriptions, supporting the interview process, and inducting new employees.
4. Foster a positive culture and address employee concerns in a timely manner.
5. Oversee performance management processes, providing guidance to managers and employees.
6. Ensure compliance with Employment Laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of HR best practice.
Your skills:
1. HR Professional & CIPD qualified.
2. Minimum 5 years generalist HR experience.
3. Experience of working as a standalone HR professional.
4. Experience of using HR systems.
5. Strong focus on solutions and “can do” attitude / approach.
6. Good working knowledge of current employment law.
